El último día de las celebraciones de Sant Joan tienen lugar los juegos en es Pla. Por la mañana se realizan los ensayos en los que los jinetes aprovechan para realizar una práctica final antes de demostrar sus habilidades en los juegos que se realizan por la noche. Los juegos consisten en 3 pruebas, la Ensortilla, las Carotes y Correr Abrazados. Os onvitamos a visitar la galería con las imágenes del último dia de las celebraciones de Sant Joan. The last day of the Sant Joan celebrations the games take place at es Pla. In the morning the trials are conducted in which the riders take the opportunity to make a final practice before demonstrating his skills in the games played at night. Sant Joan celebrations Day 3

Two days ago we witnessed the cleaning of the donkeys that The Fabioler will mount during the holidays. It took place on the outskirts of Ciutadella, where the owner raises the animal. They are then brought to the site where the ride starts the day after. Then we headed back to downtown Ciutadella to watch Els Festers, where fires burning in various parts of the city are the obstacle to skip preferred by everybody. We invite you to visit the gallery.
Hace dos días hemos presenciado la limpieza de los burros que montará el Fabioler durante las fiestas. Tuvo lugar en las afueras de Ciutadella, donde el dueño cría a los animales. Posteriormente son llevados al sitio de partida del día siguiente a pasar la noche. A continuación nos hemos dirigido nuevamente al centro de Ciutadella para presenciar Els Festers, donde hogueras encendidas en diversas partes de la ciudad son el obstáculo a saltar de preferencia por la juventud asistente. Today, Sunday des Be, we have seen the first touch of the flute and the drum at Caixer Senyor’s place. The character of the day, s’Homo des Be, and the rest of the party, had to march in weather conditions not entirely favorable. Yet people took to the streets to monitor the convoy on its way through the City, the visit to the Bishop, the nobles and the rest of the riders who will participate in the parade on the eve of Sant Joan. We also visited the Carotes exposed at Caixer Senyor´s. Later, as the party finishes his round of visits, takes place the Hazelnut Throwout where children are the protagonists. After the visits, the committee dismisses the Caixer Capellà and the Caixer Senyor at their homes. Hoy, domingo des Be, hemos asistido al primer toque de fabiol y tambor a cal Caixer Senyor. El personaje del día, s’Homo des Be, así como el resto de la comitiva, han tenido que marchar en unas condiciones climáticas no del todo favorables. Aún así la gente se volcó a las calles para seguir de cerca a la comitiva a su paso por el Ayuntamiento, su visita al Obispo, a los nobles y al resto de los jinetes que participarán de la cabalgata la víspera de Sant Joan. También hemos visitado Les carotes expuestas en casa del Caixer Senyor. Más tarde, mientras la comitiva termina su ronda de visitas, tiene lugar la Tirada de Avellanas de la que los más pequeños son los protagonistas. Al terminar las visitas, la comitiva despide al Caixer Capellà y al Caixer Senyor en sus respectivos domicilios. Today we had the chance to witness the ornament procedure of the drum that the Fabioler, Mr. Sebastià Salort, will toll along this Sant Joan celebrations. After that, we visited the es Be while its shown for the first time. Enjoy the first pictures of this amazing celebrations that take place at Ciutadella, Minorca Island, Spain.
Hoy hemos tenido la oportunidad de asistir a la ornamentación del tambor que llevará el Fabioler, Sr. Sebastià Salort, a lo largo de este Sant Joan. Luego hemos visitado por primera vez a es Be en la llamada Vetlla des Be. Disfruten de las primeras imágenes de esta increíble celebración que tiene lugar en Ciutadella, Menorca, España. |
